DNB PROGRAMME AT TEJASVINI HOSPITAL

The programme is a comprehensive training module in Orthopaedic Surgery undertaken in collaboration with the National Board of Examinations under the degree of Diplomate of National Board.

In the programme, we take in 6 post-graduates every year –

3 Primary DNB candidates- Post M.B.B.S
3 Secondary DNB candidates –Post Diploma Orthopaedics.

Selection into the residency programme is through a centralized merit based counselling after the July session national entrance exam held by the National Board of Examinations.

The residency is of 3 years duration for the primary DNB candidate and 2 years duration for the Secondary DNB candidate.

In the programme- the post graduate undergoes both in-patient and out-patient training along with hands on operative and non-operative management of a wide variety of conditions keeping the basic treatment principles of Orthopaedics in mind.

Clinical training is enhanced by a comprehensive didactic program which includes routine conferences, seminars, symposiums, and lectures in all areas of Orthopaedics.

The trainees are enthused to undertake research and present scientific propose in national and international conferences and publications in press received journals.
