Amar Shanth Paramedical Institute is located in Kudupu, 6 K.M. from the railway station on the national highway 169, opposite to the famous Anantha Padmanabha Temple kudupu is housed in our 45000 sq. ft. area building on the top of Kudupu hills in 7 acre land overlooking the Arabian sea & western ghats on the other side.

Tejasvini Hospital Group of Institutions are specialized institutions established by Amar Shanth Charitable Trust with a righteous vision to impart quality medical education on par with international standards. The institutions have all the infrastructure primed with the latest equipment and training facilities. They are attached to Tejasvini Hospital & SSIOT, a 206 bedded modern hospital owned by the trustees. They have a well-planned campus, library and recreation facilities with hostel for girls. Every student who joins these institutions governed by the trust will have the opportunity to get trained in their respective field of education in every way. They will be trained to become competent in their field of profession by well experienced faculty and professionals. The students will be exposed to extensive practical training in all aspects of their profession. Special emphasis will be given to personality development and character. Founder
Tejasvini Hospital & Shantharam Shetty Institute of Orthopaedics & Traumatology (SSIOT) has started by Prof. Dr. M. Shantharam Shetty with an aim to provide specialized state of the art Orthopaedic are to all patients irrespective of their economic status. Dr. Shantharam Shetty has a teaching experience of more than 40 years and he has been Professor and head of Orthopaedics Department and Director of post graduate studies at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore from 1980 to 1998. Dean of K.S. Hegde Medical Academy 1999 to 2008 & Vice-Chancellor.
At present he is the Pro-Chancellor of Nitte University. He is an orthopaedic surgeon of international repute, a good teacher and an able administrator. He is a visiting professor to different Universities within India & overseas. He is a post graduate examiner to various Indian Universities and the National Board of Examinations. He was the President of All India Orthopaedics Association in 2009-10 and President of Orthopaedic Association of South Indian States in 2003.


Dr. M. Ajith Kumar
M.S. (Ortho), M.Ch (Ortho) Liverpool, FICS
Dr. M. Ajith Kumar, a post graduate from KMC, Manipal, an MBBS graduate from Osmania University extensive training in U.K. and Ireland for more than 7 years, including the famous Orthopaedic Centre of Liverpool where he did his M.Ch (Ortho) established practice in Mangalore. He is a senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon of Tejasvini Hospital & SSIOT. He is a specialist in joint replacement surgery, arthroscopic surgery and pediatric orthopaedics. He is an excellent teacher and surgeon. He has delivered more than 60 CME National and International lectures and has publications in reputed National and International journals.
He is one of the trustees of Amar Shanth Charitable Trust and the Managing Director of Tejasvini Hospital.

Dr. Lathika Shetty

Dr. Lathika Shetty is a post graduate in Radio Diagnosis from KMC, Manipal and at present working as Professor of Radio Diagnosis at K.S. Hegde Medical Academy, a reputed institute.
She is the Secretary of Amar Shanth Charitable Trust.
All our other trustees are highly reputed professionals in their own field, adding on strength to the Trust.

Dr. Satish Mallya is a B.Com. Graduate from Mysore University, M.Com. Graduate from Karnataka University and a Ph.D holder from Amaravathi University. He has served more than 35 years in reputed educational institution of Manipal University in various capacity. He is a National Athlete and Badminton Player. He is a qualified Badminton Referee of Badminton Association of India, he has participated in many National and International conferences and presented papers. He has organized National and International conferences. He is a good administrator and working hard to promote our Institution.
